STANFORD Travel Arrangements

All Challenge Success school teams are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from Stanford University. The campus is located approximately 30 minutes north of the San Jose airport, and 35 minutes south of the San Francisco Airport. You can pick whichever airport is more convenient for you. The Friday night pre-plenary event begins at 6:30 pm, and the conference will conclude promptly at 5:00 pm on Saturday – so please plan your flights accordingly.

We recommend that you rent a car to use for ground transportation over the weekend. Although the hotel is located just across the street from the main entrance to the university, it is still a 2 mile walk to the School of Education where the conference will take place. If you have a car, you can park on campus near the conference venues.

Hotels:

For out-of-area teams, we have arranged a special group rate at the Sheraton Palo Alto Hotel located across the street from Stanford University. If you are interested in reserving rooms at this rate, please contact the Sheraton Hotel at 1-800-325-3535 and mention the Challenge Success Fall Conference. You can also book your reservations online at the Challenge Success Conference Sheraton reservation website:
http://www.starwoodmeeting.com/StarGroupsWeb/booking/reservation?id=1012032774&key=61A00
This special rate is only guaranteed until September 1st, so be sure to contact the hotel before then.
