Faculty & Staff Survey for Middle and High Schools
Challenge Success is inviting a small group of schools in the US serving grades 6-12 to participate in a fully grant-funded opportunity focused on educator well-being and belonging.
The Educator Well-Being & Belonging Collaborative is designed to help schools better understand the experiences of their faculty and staff and identify opportunities to strengthen the conditions that support a healthy, connected, and thriving school community. Through the project, schools will gain actionable insight into educator well-being and belonging and have an opportunity to use those insights to inform priorities and future improvement efforts.
We are selecting a limited number of schools for each option. If you would like your school to be considered, please fill out the application form by September 25, 2026.
Option 1: Educator Survey-Only
Participate in the fall 2026 Challenge Success Faculty & Staff Survey, receive access to an interactive school-level results dashboard, and join a 60-minute debrief with members of our Research Team to explore key strengths and areas for attention.
Option 2: Survey + Coaching
Participate in the survey and debrief, then continue with a deeper improvement process through spring 2027. This includes ongoing coaching, leadership support, an onsite visit with qualitative data collection, and support translating findings into priorities and testing changes.
Cost to Participate in the Educator Collaborative
There is no cost to participating schools. In return, we are looking for schools that can commit to strong survey participation and, for the coaching option, engage a team in sustained improvement work and share what they learn.
We are seeking schools serving grades 6-12 across a range of contexts and will prioritize schools serving diverse student populations. Our goal is to learn from a varied group of school communities and better understand the conditions that support educator well-being and belonging across different settings. You can download this brief overview sheet with additional details about both participation options, including school commitments and the project timeline.
Challenge Success is grateful to the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation for supporting this project!
