La Cañada Unified Getting Input From All Sides on Student Cellphone Policy (La Cañada Outlook, January 2026)

La Cañada High School was selected by the nonprofit Challenge Success as one of three schools nationally to receive a grant that aims to support secondary schools in creating cellphone policies that prioritize student voice and well-being. La Cañada Unified School District has been working to gather feedback from students, teachers, and parents on its high school cellphone policy.

The idea behind the work is to look at the district’s current policy more closely and try to incorporate effective changes based on student engagement and feedback.
